A collection of Melbourne United’s United In Business (UIB) members recently came together for an intimate networking opportunity hosted by the club.
Taking place at Hawthorn’s magnificent Butcher & Vine, 36 of United’s UIB members linked for an opportunity to share about themselves and learn about others.
Opened by United CEO Nick Truelson, the day featured a great presentation from Club Chairman and CEO of AMES Australasia & Europe, Simon Hupfeld.
Speaking following the event, Truelson said it was great to see so many passionate MU fans together making connections that could help further their businesses.
“One thing we have all missed over the last few years is the ability to truly network and engage with our key clients and it was fantastic to see so many B2B discussions taking place with several genuine and authentic connections taking place which will lead to new business relationships occurring.”
The next UIB event will be a Speed Networking Connection Session at The Sporting Globe Richmond on Wednesday, 22 June from 4pm.
This will lead into the marquee UIB event, its Major Luncheon at Centrepiece on Friday, 22 July.
“We are very much looking forward to our major lunch and can’t wait to see our business family gathering for this special event.”
MC’d by ESPN journalist Nat Edwards, the luncheon will feature guest speakers Dean Vickerman (Melbourne United Head Coach), Jenna O’Hea (Australian Opals Captain) and Matt Tripp (Melbourne Storm Chief Executive) with more speakers set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets for the Major Luncheon are now on sale, (Non-UIB Members: $250 per person or $2,250 for a table of 10), and can be secured by emailing email@example.com.
